Inflatable Curtain and SIPS

Inflating in a side-impact accident to help protect the heads of all outboard occupants, the Inflatable Curtain (IC) helps to offer protection whether you're in the front or the rear. It also stays inflated in multiple or longer-duration accidents to help provide extended protection. The IC has been extended by 60 mm, which in combination with the new two-stage integrated booster cushions and the reinforced body side structure helps protect children of different sizes in a side-impact.
